Quality Assurance
of Supported Accommodation 

Aidhour provides visitors (currently experienced Regulation 44 visitors and Managers with experience of 16+ Accommodation) to undertake assessments of the quality of Supported Accommodation and to help prepare for Ofsted.

 

We use a template covering the standards in the Department for Education's “Guide to Supported Accommodation Regulations including Quality Standards” published in March 2023.

 

The process includes:

• a visit to the accommodation and provider (for providers with multiple accommodation, visits are usually on a rotational basis);

• discussion with the provider including the Registered Person and relevant staff;

• consultation with resident young people;

• review of relevant documentation, including documentation relating to staff, young people and their accommodation;

• obtaining feedback from adults involved with the young people

 

We produce an evidence based report within five working days.
